The weeks are flying by.  I have been under the weather and unable to blog this week. I have received many emails, calls, texts, and Facebook messages asking about our progress. I decided to dedicate this blog to update everyone.  Dollar for a Wedding has grown far more than we would have ever imagined. Cole and I are excited and thankful for all the love and support. We are still in need of financial contributions and sponsors for our big day. I have listed all of our current sponsors below. Each sponsor will receive signage on our website, signage at the wedding and included in a giveaway bag for our guests. Thank you again for all of your continued support and feedback.

Congrats on the wedding, and I'm sorry some people think this is bad taste. Thankfully I am not one of them.

I've been married 23 yrs this Oct and we did the JP thing. I wish we could have done a little something, even smaller than what you are planning. I think that your analogy about spending money on gifts rather than the wedding expenses is 'spot on'!

I don't see anything that states that those family and friends that DON'T contribute, would be asked not to attend the services. I don't see where you're asking for a minimum amount.

If I had some to give I would, but since I don't, please accept my family's sincere congratulations on the upcoming nuptials and best wishes to both of you!
